	National Training Information Service The National Training Information Service has been developed by federal and state governments to provide access to current and emerging training market information and products in vocational education and training. Currently, the NTIS comprises a database of: VET Accredited courses Competency standards Training Packages and Training providers and text information on a range of complementary issues. Significant changes to the content, delivery and choice of training have emerged over the last few years, culminating in the introduction of Training Packages, introduced in 1998. Howson Carpet Care has archived Certificate 3 under the training packages for carpet cleaning in 2011.
	The Advantage Group Carpet Cleaners (Inc) commenced operations in 1999 and was first registered as an association with its own constitution in 2000. Since then the AGCC has lead the way in the carpet cleaning industry and in 2005 became the first industry group in Australia with its members to have achieved nationally recognized certification. Striving for industry excellence and actively encouraging all members to seek available qualifications, the Group gained industry and market acknowledgement both locally and interstate and as such has been recognized by ‘Choice’ magazine as Western Australia’s only Group of qualified carpet maintenance technicians
